REFLECTION

Experience
Learning typography is a new experience for me. At first, it felt frustrating because typography needs a lot of attention to detail, and even small things can affect the design. I kept noticing mistakes in my work, which made it challenging. At the same time, this also helped me slowly understand typography better. With more practice, I feel that I have improved a lot, especially in handling negative space. Among all the tasks, Task 1 was my favorite because I found it the most interesting and fun to work on.

Observations
After completing 3 tasks, I noticed that I started paying more attention to typography in my daily life. I began to notice different fonts and letter styles on signs, especially at restaurants and on the street. I also realized that I am very critical of my own work, which helps me spot mistakes but sometimes makes me overthink. I also observed that better planning for experimenting could improve the outcome of the tasks.

Findings
From this module, I learned that typography is not just about choosing a font, but also about spacing, balance, and layout. I find that I often overthink small mistakes. To improve, I need to practice more and manage my time better and also be more detail. I also learned that observing typography around me helps me understand it better. The skills I gained from this module can be useful for future projects.
